Polypropylene Sheet

PP-DWU Sheeting is made from a high molecular homopolymer. It has exceptional resistance to strong chemicals and heat. While it is not UV stabilized, it displays good weathering resistance. In fabrication, the PP-DWU is easily thermoformed and has less memory after forming than other polypropylenes. Very easy to weld. TAN/GRAY colour. Extruded “LOW” stress. Flat sheet.

Sizes: 2000 mm x 1000 mm, 3000 x 1500 mm, 4000 x 2000 mm

Thicknesses: 1.6 mm - 40 mm

POLYPROPYLENE / DWST SHEETS (Natural Color, Smooth Finish)

Polypropylene has excellent dielectric strength, excellent chemical resistance and outstanding heat resistance, its moisture absorption is practically nil and it is unsurpassed in flexural strength; unlike polyethylene, polypropylene is not prone to menvironmental stress cracking.

Sizes: 2000 mm x 1000 mm, 2440 mm x 1220 mm, 3000 mm x 1500 mm

Thicknesses: 1.5 mm - 40 mm

Sizes: 2000 mm x 1000 mm, 3000 mm x 1500 mm

Thicknesses: 3 mm - 20 mm

Natural Polypropylene Sheets

Polypropylene is a member of the polyolefin family of the thermoplastics, polypropylene exhibits properties that make it an excellent choice for corrosion resistant applications.

Homopolymer Polypropylene

The most widely utilized. Homopolymer Polypropylene is a crystalline material offering a broad range of good physical, mechanical, thermal, chemical, and electrical properties.  The high degree of crystallinity and low density of Hompolymer Polypropylene offers a high strength toweight ratio. Combining the high strength to weight ratio with good chemical resistance and weldability of Homopolymer, Polypropylene allows the material to be used in many corrosion resistant structures.

Sizes: 48" x 96", 48" x 120"

Thicknesses: 1/8" to 3"

Copolymer Polypropylene

Copolymer Polypropylene involves the introduction of a second monomer to the propylene monomer during the polymerization process. The resin manufacture will introduce a small percentage of ethylene monomer to the propylene monomer resulting in a product that exhibits better impact strength than Homopolymer Polypropylene. When compared to Homopolymer Polypropylene rigidity, chemical resistance and temperature resistance properties of Copolymer Polypropylene are slightly lower.
